Through several years as a member of the United States National Cycling Team, I acquired the ability to suffer, not only physically but also mentally. The ability I have obtained in balancing the athletic demands of competing at a world class level as well as the challenges of earning the grades necessary for what I aspire to become is most rewarding. The perseverance and resilience one must have to drive forward through all setbacks and defeats instills confidence and stability. Likewise, the tremendous mental and physical obstacles one must endure through diet and training is what I understand and where my passion lies.

I make no excuses for myself. The path I have chosen this far is one less traveled. Manipulating my schedule and working through constraints of allotting the proper time for my training as well as my studies has taught me to be very efficient. My athletic achievements and academic perseverance facilitates me with the ability to make decisions and to act in a way to which I can relate and to communicate well with most individuals. Through this communications, I seek to embrace those people who have oble qualities as well as bring out the best in those who are less superlative.

Much of my undergraduate studies in kinesiology and sporting activities have familiarized me with biological physiology. I enjoy working with people in good health as well as those who need rehabilitation and those who need assistance through sickness. My degree from The Pennsylvania State University has facilitated me with the basic tools of knowledge in biology, biomechanics, chemistry, physics and, most importantly, muscular physiology.

The confidence and drive instilled within ensures me I have the mental toughness and strength to achieve the goals we set and reach our desired results.
