My name is Minna Paakkinen. I was born in Helsinki, FInland in 1971... You do the Math! I have a degree in Marketing from the University of Helsinki, and I have been certified as a personal trainer through the NSPA (National Strength Professional Association) since February, 2001. I also have CPR certification.

I have been physically active since the age of 4. I have always been curious of trying everything. This drove my mother nuts... I did "fairytale" and later on regular ballet (I know it sounds kind of funny when you think about my short, stocky build). I also participated in gymnastics, judo, karate, swimming, track, boxing, floor ball in team competitions, and since I come from the middle of snow and ice, I did ice skating, cross country, and downhill skiing. These days I concentrate more on weight training and active outdoor sports such as rollerblading.

I have also participated in many other activities such as singing in the choir, playing the piano, oil painting, drawing and boating (I have Coast Captain papers). I enjoy traveling and have visited China, Scandinavian countries, most of Europe, Canada, Mexico and, of course, the USA. My other favorite things to do are cooking and reading (mainly about exercise, nutrition).

Hopefully, this gives you some kind of idea about this small Finnish person... If you have any questions, you're more than welcome to ask!

Oh, and by the way. One of my good qualities... (yeah, only one, even though there are so many... ha, ha!). I AM AN EXTREMELY ORGANIZED PERSON IN ALL WAYS, which makes me very practical, logical and very effective in everything I do!
