Mr. Ash is a United States Marine Corps Reservist who spent the beginning part of his military career on active duty during the Persian Gulf War, in which he served as a member of the Second Marine Division, 2nd Light Armored Infantry. Mr. Ash has served over 11 years in key positions in the infantry. He is both certified as a Marine Corps Military Operations Urban Terrain (MOUT) Warfare Instructor and Martial Arts Instructor, as well as Training Chief for the tactical/operational cell. His personal decorations include the Navy Achievement Medal, Combat Action Ribbon, and three SMCR good conduct medals.

Mr. Ash entered the private industry after serving as a law enforcement officer for the Gaffney Police Department, South Carolina. He was a member of the Metropolitan Drug Task Force that served High Risk Warrants, and developed felony drug cases. He also conducted numerous seminars on rape prevention for local college students, as well as medical staff at Gaffney Memorial Hospital.

Presently Mr. Ash works as the Assistant Director of Security Services, where he conducts risk assessments and other counter-terrorism facets of physical security for the U.S. Government and commercial industries.

Mr. Ash’s education includes a Bachelor of Arts from Limestone College, South Carolina, and a Master of Arts in Security Management from Webster University, Washington DC.
